We offer protection for databases through cloud hosting and hybrid solutions. Regular backups and geo-redundant systems secure all relevant data and enable rapid recovery in the event of an emergency.
In addition, we develop disaster recovery and contingency plans with alternative communication channels to ensure seamless continuation of operations in the event of unexpected events.
Data backups
Data backups are regularly and automatically made to external storage locations to ensure that no data is lost in the event of a failure.
Flight planning programs
PPS-Rocketroute-Foreflight serve as redundancy between each other, and Homebriefing in Austria also serves as a local solution. Flight plans can also be submitted via AFTN/SITA and existing flight plans can be changed and new ones filed in Eurocontrol’s NMP tool.
Databases
Our databases are stored in two independent locations and synchronized in real time so that the backup database can take over immediately if the main database fails.
Cloud hosting and hybrid solutions
The use of cloud-based flight planning software offers flexibility and resilience. Such a redundancy mechanism minimizes failures.
Alternative communication channels
Telephone, WhatsApp, e-mail, fax and other messenger services serve as a backup in case the main platforms for transmitting flight plans fail.
Georedundant systems
Hosting systems in different geographical locations reduces the risk of complete failure in the event of natural disasters or local disruptions. The systems are replicated in real time to enable a smooth changeover.
